東京へ戻る間際にちょっと寄り道。 伏見通りと広小路通りが交叉する、 つまりは御園座の近くにある「大甚」で一杯ひっかけて帰ろうという魂胆です。 暖簾の「酒」という文字ににんまりしながら（笑）、 進んだ引き戸の先は、なかなかの盛況です。

おばちゃんに手招きされて、奥まった入れ込みのテーブルの一角へ。 ビールをいただいたものの、卓上にも壁にも品書きらしきものがなく、周囲をきょろきょろ。 「おばちゃん、注文ってどうしたらいいの？」と訊くと、 またまた手招きモードで、さっき通り過ぎたテーブルへ連れていかれて、 「お好きなの、持って」。そして「はいっ」っと円いお盆を渡されました。 テーブルの上には、迷わせるように幾つもの酒肴が大皿に並んでいます。 なるほど、そういうシステムになっているのねん。 えーと、えーと。 いろいろいが詰まった煮凝りや辛めに煮付けた魚、 そして、小烏賊なんかをアテにちびちび、です。 続いて硝子ケースから選んだのは、殻のついた蝦蛄。 意外と見慣れないので少々異様に映るけど、するっと殻を剥いてあげればいつものシャコになります。
烏賊や蟹その他の焼き物、煮物は別途注文するシステムになっている。 最後にお願いした鰈の煮付けは身が痩せていてイマイチだったけど、 この雰囲気はお気に入り。 お酒は、賀茂鶴特級か菊正宗特級。”特級”という言葉の響きがよく似合う。 なんせ、 テーブルの角が素敵に擦り丸まっている様子や見上げる時計の表情も酒肴のひとつだもの。 そして、 嗚呼、（とうとう）こんな呑み屋にひとりで来れるようになったかと、ひとり言つのでありました。
