日比谷通り、新橋４丁目交叉点近くにある「月島らくさ」でランチです。紅いコの字のカウンターが奥に向って配されていて、先客が５人ほど。メニューには、ビーフン麺の「ラクサ」と小麦麺の「ラクサミー」とが記されているね。セットものがあるということで、その「ラクサセット」を「チキンラクサ」でいただくことにしました。まずは鮮やかな黄色いスープを啜ってみる。おほほ。カレー風味とほどよいスパイシーさとココナツのコクとベースの鶏スープの旨味、そして潜んだ和風出汁とが絶妙のバランスで整えられている。うん！美味しいじゃん。トッピングの間からお箸を差し込んで引き上げた極細ビーフン麺は、そのスープをしっかり纏わせながらシャキシャキした食感を伝えてくる。夏場の風景も似合いそうな、切れ味のいい麺だ。残念ながら、彼の地で「ラクサ」を口にしたことがないので現地のモノとの比較はできないけれど、日本での解釈をし直した上で、一定の洗練と昇華が図られたモノになっているに違いないと思うンだ。セットの「チャーシュー丼」のあっさりしたタレもいい。ちょっとご飯を残して、例によってスープに投入。ドンブリ底まで完食です（笑）。 「月島らくさ」　港区西新橋３－８－２萬楽園ビル１Ｆ　03-3431-1250
